About Us
We are a group of independent members of the Revolution within Lebanon and the Diaspora,
We believe that:1. The impunity and corruption in Lebanon can be resolved in coordination with the international community especially the United Nations commission against impunity and corruption.2. The application of the United Nations resolutions for Lebanon especially (1559, 1680, 1701) is the essential tool to reach a governable, viable, and sovereign Lebanon.3. The experience of the United Nation commissions against impunity and corruption for Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras can be utilized as a template for a similar initiative towards Lebanon.4. We would coordinate all activities within and outside of Lebanon to achieve our goals.
On the 22nd of April 2009, Lebanon signed the United Nations Convention Against Corruption (General Assembly Resolution 58/4 of 31 October 2003). Until today Lebanon has failed to put in place the necessary legal mechanisms for the implementation of this resolution. The level of Corruption in Lebanon has become one of the highest in the world, leading to a dysfunctional political life, an overtly destroyed environment, and an entirely failed economic system. The fight against corruption and impunity in Lebanon is a survival necessity, needing the support and guidance of the international community.
